St. Charles Elementary School is located in Pierrefonds, a western borough of the city of Montreal. It has served its tight-knit community for nearly 6 decades by providing a warm and welcoming place for children to learn, staff members to develop enriching and exciting learning opportunities, and families to connect with each other. Its student population is primarily from the immediate surrounding neighborhoods, stretching as far west as Cap-St-Jacques, with families from other areas who have chosen to join the school community. St. Charles is proud to have a culturally diverse group of learners who share laughs, stories, and ideas, which makes it such a special place. It offers a STEAM pedagogical approach, as well as a Français Plus model, where students learn primarily in French from Kindergarten to grade 4, followed by a 50/50 French/English curriculum in grades 5 and 6.
